Title: Barsurinen to Aduialsir*, Barsurinen's Promise
Date: 2003.03.10
Comment: During my LOTR phase, I wrote a story etc etc, and I needed something something in it. I totally forget what. But the result was this resolution. If you're a LOTR fan, yes I know, there are some mistakes with names during what time this poem is taking place, but... shut up! it rhymed!
---------------
Tall stood Barsurinen of Erelas
With shoulders broad and head so strong
A silver sword at hand to clasp
A site to see from Rohan to Forlindon
Cloaked in grey and clad in mail
He set out down along the road
Next to old faces and new faces of Elves
They came from North through the Eastfold
Men of great he road next to
high on horse into peril glory
Bright lights in their eyes so true
heads up to the sky in great bravery
But behind alas! he left a fair
Who wept to see her lover go
And erenow he promised to Aduialsir
'To you I shall return from Minas Morgul'
Many days the fair awaited word
Sitting and weeping at times for say
And many days blood turned the world
As her love fought through to find a way
A promise that great man had made
Clad in grey many days ago
And for his love he would not- dared not fade
He promised to return through the Morgul
Time walked by that she favoured not
For the wind did not blow him in
And weary she grew often alot
Feraing he would not make it pass Amon Din
As blood and battle rained ever down
Anger grew from the heart of one
And upped the sword, he took the crown
And it was over from Gondor, Rohan and Carn Dum
But still fair Aduialsir waited
No word of gloom had been brought to
Alone she sat for her love, and fretted
She knew naught of what his fate was true
Next to the remaining men of great
He walked back home through the Morgul Vale
Nigh into the night they returned late
With a war won but with broken swords and battered mail
A promise he made to his fair Aduialsir
So to her Barsurinen returned at last
Passing by the old named tower Minas Anor
To her weeping arms he went, back to Erelas
